The Economic and Finance Committee of the National Assembly met with the Economic Stimulus Plan (ESP) Secretariat to get a status update on the implementation of the ESP activities .
The meeting, held at the Lhen-Zom Khangzang, was attended by the Honโ€™ble Speaker, the Honโ€™ble Leader of the Opposition , the Honโ€™ble Minister for Finance, the Honโ€™ble Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, and the Secretaries of Cabinet, MoICE, MoF and other relevant government officials. It forms part of the Committeeโ€™s ongoing preparations for the upcoming ESP Public Hearing scheduled to be held on 16 May, 2025.
The Committee aims to ensure transparency, accountability, and effectiveness in the implementation of the Plan through inclusive consultations and open dialogue with key stakeholders.
