The Human Rights and Foreign Relations Committee (HRFRC) held a stakeholder consultative meeting with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment (MoICE) to review and ratify the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Bhutan and Thailand at the Gakyid Khangzang on 13 May 2025.
The meeting was preceded by a detailed presentation by MoICE officials, followed by an in-depth discussion on the draft Agreement. The consultation was carried out to understand the provisions of the FTA's for further deliberation in the upcoming Third Session of the Fourth Parliament.
