His Excellency was received by the Honโble Speaker, who expressed appreciation for the valuable insights shared during their discussions. Both sides explored potential areas of cooperation and discussed the formation of the BhutanโGeorgia Parliamentary Friendship Group to further strengthen parliamentary engagement and enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Speaker reaffirmed Bhutanโs commitment to nurturing and deepening the friendly ties between Bhutan and Georgia and thanked the Government of Georgia for its continued support, including the scholarship programs for Bhutanese students.
The Speaker also conveyed his best wishes for a pleasant and fruitful stay in Bhutan.
