Third Reading of the Civil Liability Bill of Bhutan (CLBB) 2022 commenced
The Third Reading of the Civil Liability Bill of Bhutan (CLBB) 2022 commenced today with the Chairperson of the Human Rights and Foreign Relations Committee (HRFRC), Hon’ble Rinzin Jamtsho presenting the review report to the House.
The House had a substantial deliberation on the Preamble considering it as the foundation of the Bill and further endorsed the Committee’s recommendation to accept the original clauses on Title, Commencement, and Extent.
Deliberation on the rest of the Committee’s recommendations will be continued tomorrow.
