Public Accounts Committee scrutinizes audit issues-DZ
The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is extensively holding consultation with the stakeholders on several unresolved audit irregularities reported in the Annual Audit Report 2021-22 in preparation for the upcoming summer session.
On 18th April, the Committee met with the officials from Punakha Dzongkhag led by Dasho Dzongda Thuji Tshering. The meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of the Committee, Hon’ble Gyambo Tshering from Zhemgang Bardo-Trong constituency. The Committee, on 19th April, met with the officials from the National Environment Commission.
The PAC has the constitutional mandate to review the Annual Audit Report and report to the Parliament.
