Preliminary Meeting for the 10th Session’s agenda and Presentation of the ACC Annual Report 2023
On the 30th of September, the National Assembly of Bhutan conducted the Preliminary meeting to discuss and finalize the agenda for the Tenth Session of the Third Parliament. The session was presided over by the Hon’ble Speaker and attended by the Opposition Leader, Cabinet Ministers and the Members of the Parliament.
It was followed by the presentation on the Anti-Corruption Commissions (ACC’s) Annual Report 2023 and National Integrity Assessment (NIA) 2022. The Annual report highlights the performance, key milestones, initiatives and challenges of the ACC’s preceding financial year. NIA report focused on the Parliamentarian Integrity Index.
The report was given to the Good Governance Committee of the Assembly for review and presentation of its findings to the Session.
The Members engaged in a lengthy Question-and-Answer Session with regard to the report.
