Pay Structure Reform Bill adopted
he National Assembly today adopted the Pay Structure Reform Bill of Bhutan 2022. The Member in-Charge of the Bill, the Hon’ble Finance Minister moved the motion to adopt the Bill and reiterated that the Bill’s purpose is re-structuring the existing pay and allowances, not an increase.
The House voted 40 Yes and 2 Abstain out of 42 Members present and voting, thereby endorsing the Pay Structure Reform Bill of Bhutan 2022. The Bill will be transmitted to the National Council of Bhutan as a Money Bill.
