Parliamentary Delegation in Maharashtra
Yesterday, the delegation met with the Principal Secretary of Skills, Employment and Innovation Department Government of Maharashtra. They have also visited Maharashtra State Skills University and Biomedical Engineering & Technology Innovation Centre and interacted with several business startups.
Later in the afternoon, the delegation visited the impressive Kanheri Caves where there are over 100 massive caves carved out of the rock hills. The caves contain ancient Buddhist carvings, sculptures and literature.
In the evening, the delegation called on the Governor of State of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari and the Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Hon’ble Rahul Suresh Narwekar. The Maharashtra Speaker hosted a banquet in honour of the delegation. Promotion of tourism has been the focus.
Today the delegation moves to Aurangabad, after seeing the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust at Mumbai.
