New laws come into effect
The Parliament of Bhutan is pleased to inform the general public that the following Bills and International Instruments passed during the 8th Session of the Third Parliament have received Royal Assent from the Druk Gyalpo and shall come into force as the laws of the land:
- Gyalsung Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2022;
- Civil Service Reform Act of Bhutan 2022;
- Royal Bhutan Police (Amendment) Act 2022;
- Tax Act of Bhutan 2022;
- Property Tax Act of Bhutan 2022;
- Pay Structure Reform Act of Bhutan 2022; and
- United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and the Protocol thereto.
