National Assembly offers prayers during the Kuenkhyen Kabum Jaklung-DZ
The Members of the National Assembly and Secretariat led by the Hon’ble Speaker, attended the ongoing Kuenkhyen Kabum Jaklung, (Oral Transmission) at Kuensel Phodrang, coinciding with auspicious day today.
The month-long Kuenkhyen Kabum Jaklung is based on the teachings of the accomplished Drukpa Kagyu Master Kuenkhyn Pema Karpo. The 24 volumes of Kabum contain Buddhist philosophy, logic, literature, history, and astrology.
The comprehensive initiation is presided over by His Holiness the Je Khenpo. It is organized by the Central Monastic Body and commenced on 9th October.
