Fourth National Assembly holds First Plenary Meeting
Coinciding with the auspicious occasion of the 8th Birth Anniversary of His Royal Highness Gyalsey Jigmi Namgyel Wangchuck, the first plenary of the Fourth National Assembly was held at the Gyelyong Tshogkhang today. The primary agenda involved outlining the plans for the upcoming induction program for new Members set to being from 6 -9 February 2024.
Addressing the Plenary, the Hon’ble Speaker emphasized the significant responsibility ahead and urged the Members to diligently work hard towards realizing the aspirations of His Majesty the King and the people.
