Hon’ble Tshencho Wangdi, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Bhutan is visiting his constituency. During the visit,  he met with Dasho Dzongda and thanked him for the prompt and positive response to the issues raised by the public during the last constituency visit. There were various discussions and the upcoming Punakha  Kaja Throm was the focus as it is one of the ongoing activities, which will be benefiting the people of Punakha. It will be a permanent market shed to sell their agricultural products.

In the afternoon, he made a site visit to the ongoing work of the irrigation channel which is proceeding well in Guma Gewog. The public is excited since they depend mainly on agriculture. 

Hon’ble Member will be meeting with the public of the six Gewogs of his constituency starting tomorrow. He has an agenda to visit the ongoing activities of the other Gewog for better output. Hon’ble Members of the Parliament have oversight functions besides representation. He will be in his constituency for the next couple of weeks.
