Constituency Visit Update ; Bji-Kartshog-Uesu constituency
Member of National Assembly, Hon. Lhendup Wangdi, from
Bji-Kartshog-Uesu constituency is currently visiting his constituency in Haa
beginning from 1-13 April 2024.
On Monday, 1 April 2024, an entry meeting was held with Dasho
Dzongda. During the meeting, the Member
shared the constituency visit plan
and updated the Dzongdag on the affairs of the National Assembly.
Discussions were held concerning development of infrastructure and promotion of
tourism in Haa, establishment of Amusement Parks, CSI Marketing blocks and
beautification of areas. The need for construction of a proper drainage system
in and around the town was also highlighted.
During the visit, the Member also visited the Jigme Khesar
National Park and discussed issues concerning human wildlife conflict,
trespassing of the park areas and other
security concerns. The Member will continue to visit and engage with people of
Bji-Kartsho-Ueus and other Chewogs.
