Ambassador of Mongolia to Bhutan calls on the Deputy Speaker

The Ambassador Mr. Ganbold Dambajav of Mongolia to Bhutan called on the Deputy Speaker Hon’ble Tshencho Wangdi of the National Assembly of Bhutan today. Hon’ble Tshencho Wangdi is also the Chairperson of the Bhutan-Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship Group. It was a follow-up call on the call dated 15th April 2023 and virtual meeting of the Bhutan-Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship group on 3rd May 2023.

The call-on noted to further strengthen and enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries. The Ambassador extended the invitation to the Members of the Bhutan-Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship group to visit Mongolia and reiterated the importance of the role of the Parliamentary relation.  The Deputy Speaker expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for always actively being involved in strengthening the relations between the two countries.

Formal diplomatic relations between Bhutan and Mongolia were established on 18th January 2012, after a Joint Communiqué was signed between the Permanent Representatives of the two countries to the United Nations in New York.
