Ambassador of Denmark to Bhutan calls on the Hon’ble Speaker-DZ
Ambassador Mr. Freddy Svane who is currently in Bhutan called on the Hon’ble Speaker on 28th April.
The Hon'ble Speaker welcomed the Ambassador and expressed gratitude to the people of Denmark for all the support in various forms rendered to Bhutan. The Speaker also requested the Ambassador to convey gratitude to the Danish Parliament for the warm reception and hospitality provided to the Bhutanese parliamentary delegation during their visit to Belgium and Denmark from 27 - 31 March 2023. He had extended the invitation for the Danish Parliaments to visit Bhutan.
The Ambassador thanked the Speaker for the warm hospitality and making time to interact with him. He also conveyed the greetings from the Speaker of Danish Parliament.
The Speaker and Ambassador discussed exploring areas to further strengthen the strong relationship between the two parliaments.
Diplomatic relations between Bhutan and Denmark were established in August 1985.
