The Dy. Speaker Hon. Sangay Khandu and the Secretary General Mr. Duba of the National Assembly, presented and engaged in discussions regarding Bhutan's Politics and Parliamentary System with Class 27 Executives from King Prajadhipokโs Institute (KPI) Thailand at the Gyelyong Tshogkhang today.
Leading the delegation of 21 executives, which comprised civil servants, government officials, and private sector executives, was Professor Emeritus Dr. Borwornsak Uwanno. The visit, facilitated by King Prajadhipok's Institute (KPI) in Thailand, forms a component of the Politics and Governance in the Democratic System course for Executives. It aims to broaden participants' understanding of political systems and governance from an international standpoint. During their visit, the delegation also toured the Parliament Hall.
KPI, established in 1998, operates as an academic institution under the supervision of the National Assembly of Thailand. It offers academic support, conducts research, and provides training courses for national and local politicians, civil servants, government officials, private sector executives, and leaders from the citizen sector.
