Following the resolution of the second plenary meeting and in response to the concerns raised by the public during constituency visits by Members of Parliament, the Environment and Climate Change Committee convened its second meeting on 25th April 2024 to address the allocation of timber in rural areas and the surface collection of sand and boulders on privately registered land. The committee resolved to engage in discussions with the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources regarding this matter.
