On 5 May 2025, Dasho Karma Hamu Dorjee, Ambassador-designate to Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call to the Honโ€™ble Speaker. The Speaker expressed his heartfelt felicitations for her appointment as the Ambassador-designate to Bangladesh and expressed appreciation for her contribution to the civil service reforms during her tenure as the Chairperson of the Royal Civil Service Commission.
His Majesty the King appointed Dasho Karma Hamu Dorjee as the new Ambassador-designate to Bangladesh on 20 December 2024.
