The Social Cultural Committee holds consultation meeting with Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) and Royal University of Bhutan

The Social Cultural Committee, held a consultative meeting with the Hon’ble Education Minister and officials from the Ministry of Education, Skills and Development (MoESD) and the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) to further understand  the reasons for the reduced  intake of students and discontinuation  of the College of Language and Culture Studies (CLCS).


During the meeting, participants discussed strategies to increase student enrollment, including improved outreach initiatives and curriculum enhancements. The committee also discussed potential pathways for CLCS students to transition to other programs, ensuring that the closure does not hinder their educational and professional aspirations. The Committee expressed commitment to developing actionable recommendations to support the future of higher education in Bhutan.
