The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) holds consultations with the Royal Audit Authority (RAA) on the Performance Audit Report on the Operations of the State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL)
As part of its review process, the Public Accounts Committee held its final consultation meeting with the Royal Audit Authority on 31st October 2024 to discuss the Performance Audit Report of the State Mining Corporation Ltd. The Auditor General, three Deputy Auditors Generals and officials from the RAA participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the RAA made a brief presentation on the objectives, observations, key findings and recommendations provided therein the Report and provided clarification and explanation to all queries and doubts the Committee and Members of Parliament had on the subject matter.
The Performance Audit Report of the SMCL was presented in the first joint session of the Fourth Parliament and will be deliberated in the upcoming joint session of Parliament.
