The National Assembly ratifies the BIMSTEC Convention on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters
As per procedure, the Member Incharge of the Bill, the Minister for Home Affairs, moved the motion for the adoption of the BIMSTEC Convention on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters today.
The House ratified the convention with all 42 Members present, voting in favour. The Convention will now be transmitted to the National Council as per the Rules of Procedure.
