The Members of National Assembly from Sarpang Dzongkhag on constituency visit
The Member of National Assembly from Sompangkha Demkhong Hon. Dr.TB Rai and Hon. Harka Singh Tamang of Gelephu Demkhong accompanied H.E Yonton Phuntsho, Agriculture and Livestock Minister on his two-day visit from 10 to 11 September to Sarpang Dzongkhag.
The visit included tours of several key agricultural centres, such as the Agriculture Research and Development Centre, the Building Resilient Commercial Smallholder Agriculture (BRESCA) Office, the Regional Seed Centre, the National Poultry Development Centre, the National Centre for Aquaculture Development, and the National Piggery Development Centre.
Additionally, the group, led by the Minister for MoAL, explored various commercial crop and livestock farms in Norbugang, Jigmeling, Taraythang, and Umling, with guidance from the Dzongkhag Agriculture and Livestock sectors. The Members will continue to visit their own constituencies in the days ahead.
