
The Human Rights and Foreign Relations Committee meets with the United States Senator Gary Charles Peters
The Human Rights and Foreign Relations Committee (HRFRC) met with the U.S. Senator Gary Charles Peters and his team at the Lhen-Zom Khangzang. The meeting focused on strengthening of Bhutan-US relations. The Members highlighted the functions of Bhutan's Parliament and the country’s democratic processes. Topics also included boosting tourism, studies opportunities, addressing climate change, and enhancing bilateral cooperation. Both sides committed to continued collaboration for a sustainable future routed through the Royal Government in accordance with the existing protocols of the two countries.
