The Hon’ble Speaker meets with the Local Government Leaders and Officials of Samtse Dzongkhag
On 6 March 2025, the Hon'ble Speaker visited Samtse Dzongkhag. The program began with the reception of the Speaker by Dasho Dzongda, Lam Neten, Dasho Drangpon, Dzongrab, Drungpas, and Local Government Leaders, along with officials from the Dzongkhag administration and regional sectors, followed by the ceremonial Marchang. Dasho Dzongda of the Samtse Dzongkhag then welcomed everyone present and gave a brief overview of the current status of Samtse Dzongkhag.
The discussions emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to address critical issues, such as the challenges of resource mobilization, the ESP concessional loan, and the new Dzong construction in the district.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the collective commitment to the holistic development of Samtse Dzongkhag, ensuring that the aspirations of the people are effectively met.
