Students and faculty from NRC, Paro witnessed the 10th Sitting of the National Assembly
During the 10th Sitting of the National Assembly, 20 Third Year students of BA in Development Studies of Norbuling Rigter College (NRC), Paro, along with two faculty members, witnessed the question hour session as part of their academic study tour. The visit was aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of parliamentary proceedings and democratic governance. The Speaker welcomed the group and emphasized the importance of such visits in fostering civic awareness and encouraging youth participation in the democratic process. The students observed the deliberations in the House and gained firsthand insight into legislative procedures and national decision-making.
