Office Joining of new Research Assistants
Seven new Research Assistants (RAs) joined the National Assembly Secretariat today. The Secretary General welcomed and congratulated the new recruits with Khadar and suja desi over a modest tendril ceremony.
The Secretary General also briefed the new appointees on their roles and expectations and wished them well in their new endeavour. The RAs will be working with the Members of the National Assembly to assist them with their research in making policy decisions.
Two new Personal Secretaries to the Speaker and the Leader of the Opposition respectively and one Legislative Officer also joined the National Assembly Secretariat this year.
