Mr. Abel Aballe Despaigne, Chargé d'Affaires of the Cuban Embassy in New Delhi, calls on the Speaker of the National Assembly
On 8th October 2024, Mr. Abel Aballe Despaigne, Chargé d'Affaires of the Cuban Embassy in New Delhi, called on the Speaker of the National Assembly.
The Speaker welcomed Mr. Despaigne and shared Bhutan's recent progress under the leadership of its Kings, while highlighting the strong ties between Bhutan and Cuba.
Mr. Despaigne acknowledged the shared challenges and values of both countries, such as youth migration and labor shortages, and expressed hope for future collaboration in science, education, medicine, and climate change. He also reaffirmed Cuba's commitment to supporting Bhutan's development.
