European Union (EU) Ambassador calls on the Speaker
On 6th June , His Excellency Hervé Delphin, Ambassador of the European Union to Bhutan and his team called on the Hon’ble Speaker at the Speaker's Chamber of the National Assembly.
The Hon’ble Speaker welcomed His Excellency Hervé Delphin and his team to the Parliament and spoke fondly of the bond Bhutan shares with the EU. His Excellency also expressed his gratitude towards the EU for its support to Bhutan and Project Nyamdrel ll, which supports Parliament of Bhutan and Civil Society Organization (CSO).
The team expressed their gratitude to the Speaker for making time to meet and also congratulated him on his election as the Speaker. The EU Ambassador assured their commitment and support towards the development of Bhutan in the future.
