EU Ambassadors and Heads of Missions of EU member states based in Delhi calls on the Speaker
EU heads of mission of 17 EU Member States led by His Excellency Mr. Herve Delphin, Ambassador of the European Union called on the Speaker today at the Gyelyong Tahogkhang.
The Speaker warmly welcomed His Excellency and the delegation to Bhutan and expressed appreciation for the European Union's ongoing capacity-building support to the Parliament under Project ‘Nyamdrel II implemented by International IDEA.
The Ambassador thanked the Speaker for the meeting, commending Bhutan for its progress in preserving its culture and environment and the strong sense of unity and sovereignty of the Bhutanese.
The discussions focused on enhancing parliamentary support and exploring collaboration opportunities. The delegation comprised of 18 Ambassadors and Heads of Missions of the EU Member States based in New Delhi.
The call on was followed by the launch of the Parliament - Private Sector Collaboration Strategy at the Lhenzom Khangzang.
