Environment and Climate Change Committee holds consultation with the Department of Forest and Park Services

The Environment and Climate Change Committee held a consultation meeting with the Department of Forest and Park Services today at Gakid Khangzang, Gyelyong Tshongkhang. The meeting was chaired by Hon. Pema Drukpa, the Committee Chairperson.

The consultation focused on the rural timber allotment system for house construction, online payment and sawing permits, and issues such as misuse, wastage, and timber availability challenges. Recommendations were made to improve the user-friendliness of online systems like the G2C and the National Digital Identity app to enhance public service delivery.
