Constituency Visit Update: Member of National Assembly from Dragteng-Langthil constituency attends the 6th Dzongkhag Tshogdu.
The Member of
National Assembly, Namgay Dorji, participated as an observer in the 6th
Dzongkhag Tshogdu of the Third Local Government at Trongsa on August 14, 2024.
The session saw
a report on the output of FY 2023-2024 and endorsement of the budget and
activities for FY 2024-2025.
Currently
engaged in the constituency visit since August 11, 2024, the Member has been
meeting with LG officials to discuss the plans, budgets and activities for the
FY 2024-2025 and SDP projects of the gewogs.
This engagement
is part of his oversight responsibilities as a Member of Parliament.
Moreover, the
Member is meeting with the constituents, emphasizing the importance of
collective efforts between the central government, LG and the public for the
proper and efficient use of resources in the developmental initiatives.
The member will
continue his constituency through August 17,2024.
