Constituency Visit Update

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly is currently on his fifth constituency visit to Tashichholing, which began on February 14, 2025. 


During the visit, he also held discussions with Dasho Drungpa, DT Thrizin, Gups, GAOs, Site Engineers, Principals, and other relevant officials regarding the ongoing issues related to hostel construction at Peljorling and Tendruk Central Schools. He also visited  Tendruk Central School, Peljorling Central School, and Tashicholing Primary School. Additionally, he met with the Department of Roads (DOR) Engineer to review plans for upcoming road infrastructure projects.


A presentation by the Administrative Officer of Tashichholing Gewog provided an overview of the achievements for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. The Deputy Speaker also engaged with the people of Tashichholing Gewog in two groups, where he shared insights on his commitments, the 13th Five-Year Plan (FYP), and various development activities across the  Chiwogs.  


His itinerary includes a visit to Pemaling Gewog, followed by meetings with residents of Tendruk and Norgaygang Gewogs. The official tour is set to conclude on March 18, 2025.
