The significance of this road extends far beyond economic and infrastructural benefits. Soeltapsa Chiwog is home to several sacred sites, attracting hundreds of pilgrims and visitors from across the region. Many travel to meet loved ones, while others come to pay homage at Buddhist Lhakhangs, Hindu Mandirs, and offer prayers at Bindu Lake, a site of deep spiritual reverence. Additionally, this road also holds strategic importance.
The project scope includes blacktopping, the construction of retaining walls, and improvements of the drainage systems, ensuring durability and resilience against environmental challenges. Furthermore, this initiative will uplift the rural economy by promoting sustainable agricultural practices and increasing commercial vegetable production in the region’s fertile lands.
The Deputy Speaker, Local Government officials, and the people of Tendu expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Government of India for its unwavering support in improving the lives of rural communities. They also prayed for the continued wellbeing and happiness of the government and people of India. The beneficiaries also extended their sincere gratitude to His Majesty the King and the Royal Government of Bhutan for their steadfast leadership and commitment to the nation development.
