Information and Communication Division
Enhancing the Parliamentary Journey
The division is responsible for organizing and managing public relations of the National Assembly. It undertakes educational and advocacy programs that take the work of the National Assembly to the people. The division renders professional information and communications advice and support services to the Speaker, members, standing committees, and Secretary General. It also carries out assignments that the Secretary General may assign.
Library and Archive Section
- Maintenance, development, administration, and management of library and archival facilities for efficient legislative support services
- Providing library and research services to the members
- Providing information for members to carry out their legislative, oversight, and representational responsibilities.
Information Technology (IT) Section
- Developing, implementing, reviewing, and maintaining computer-based information systems
- Conducting systems analyses, design, programming, and documentation
- Coordinating the procurement of required hardware and software
- Providing centralized data processing service
- Administering, maintaining, and developing server and LAN systems
- Maintaining and updating the website
- Operating the audio-visual system
Printing and Publication Section
- Printing bills, resolutions, and other documents
- Printing stationery
- Providing drafting requirements
- Providing other printing and publishing services for the National Assembly as and when required.
