Opposition Leader Dasho Pema Chewang visits Trashigang, Samdrupjongkhar, Pemgatshel and Zhemgang Dzongkhags
The Hon. Leader of the Opposition Party, Dasho Pema Chewang is currently on an official visit to Trashigang, Samdrupjongkhar, Pemgatshel and Zhemgang Dzongkhags for the first time after his successful election as the Member of the National Assembly of Bhutan and subsequent assumption of the office of the Opposition Leader.
During the visit, he will be meeting with the Dzongkhag sectoral and regional heads and local government leaders besides expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the general public for the support rendered during the recent election.
He will also be meeting with the business community and taxi association of Trashigang. The tour will conclude in Panbang following field visits to the Samdrup Jongkhar and Nganglam Integrated Check Posts. The Opposition Leader will be back in Thimphu on 14 April 2024.
