The National Assembly holds Plenary

The National Assembly held its first virtual  post session plenary  at the Lhen-Zom Khangzang, Gyelyong Tshogkhang today. 

The plenary session was chaired virtually by the Speaker, with  virtual participation by some members who are currently in their constituencies. The plenary discussed :  the follow-up report on previous plenary resolutions, follow up on the third session report,  committee workplans, committee budget, calendar  of activities  for the year 2025 and other  matters. 

The Public Accounts Committee, the Economic and Finance Committee, and the Good Governance Committee presented their work report and  other committees were also directed to finalize and  submit their work plan by the end of February.  The meeting endorsed the calendar  of activities for the year 2025 and  relevant  committees were assigned to review the guidelines for the cost-sharing mechanism in the RNR sector and effectiveness of the ESP. 

The Chairperson of the House Committee also updated the plenary on the discussions pertaining to the  office space for the members of Parliament.
