The Members of the Parliament offer prayers at the Longchen Nyingthik Tsapoed wanglung at Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC)
On 21 March 2025, the Members of the Parliament, led by the Speaker of the National Assembly and Thrizin of National Council, offered Kusung Mendrel at the ongoing Longchen Nyingthik Tsapod Wang ceremony in Gelephu Mindfulness City.
His Holiness Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche is currently presiding over a month-long empowerment and transmission ceremony in Gelephu. This sacred event is being held for the welfare of all sentient beings and the success of Gelephu Mindfulness City, which represents His Majesty's vision for the country.
His Eminence bestowed the sacred Wang upon the Members during the ceremony, which included essential prayers, sadhanas, and tshok from Jigme Lingpa's Nyingma Terma Lineage of Longchen Nyingthik. The members prayed for the success of His Majesty’s vision for Gelephu Mindfulness City and for the well-being of all sentient beings, reaffirming their commitment to peace and prosperity.
