The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) conducted hearings today with two agencies at the Raven Hall of the National Council, in continuation of its ongoing preparations for the upcoming parliamentary session.
The PAC held hearings with officials from the Department of Infrastructure Development, (MoIT), and the Ministry of Health to review multiple audit observations, assess the status of action taken reports, and discuss a time-bound way forward.
The hearing also served as a platform for the auditees to share on-the-ground challenges, implementation issues related to development activities, professional experiences, and constructive feedback aimed at improving the overall working ecosystem.
The PAC is set to present its Review Report of the Annual Audit Report 2023–2024, along with unresolved irregularities from previous annual audit reports, during the upcoming summer session of Parliament for deliberation and consideration.
