Hon’ble Deputy Speaker concludes his constituency visits-DZ

Hon’ble Tshencho Wangdi of Kabisa Talo constituency from Punakha concluded his constituency visit on 1st October 2022. The three-week-long visit began on the 11th of September 2022. 

In its entry meeting, the Hon’ble Member met with Dasho Dzongda and sector heads of the Dzongkhag and thanked them for their continued support and dedicated services for the benefit of the public. 

During his three-week-long tour, the Member visited and met with the public of the six Gewog of his constituency. He also shared the resolution of the last seventh session with the public. The Local Government leaders and the public also thanked the Government for the support and services provided during the pandemic. Hon’ble Member also conveyed appreciation to them for their cooperation during the fight against Covid 19. 

The developmental activities of the Gewogs have been the main purpose of the visit. Through consultative meetings with the members of Gewog Tshogde, issues raised were solved at the Gewog level itself. Policy issues were clarified and the LG leaders were made more confident to carry out their responsibilities. The member thanked all the LG leaders, staff of the Gewogs, and the public for taking the time and effort to attend the meeting. He visited the sites of the ongoing activities planned by the Government. He also visited schools and interacted with the teachers and students listening to their concerns. The teachers have been making extra efforts to provide quality education to the students.

Hon’ble Member returned to the capital on 1st October, after the successful completion of his constituency visit.
