Deputy Speaker Engages with the People of Takorthang Chiwog at Takorthang Out Reach Clinic (ORC):
The Deputy Speaker met with the people of Takorthang Chiwog at Takorthang ORC, accompanied by the DT Thrizin, Gewog Administrative Officer (GAO), Livestock Extension Officer, and the Chiwog Tshogpa on 3rd March 2025.
During the meeting, the Deputy Speaker apprised the public of the current development priorities and the future plans for the Chiwog. He also reaffirmed his campaign pledges, assuring the people of his commitment to fulfilling them within the tenure. The DT Thrizin provided an update on the ongoing development initiatives being implemented through the Gewog Grant.
One of the key concerns raised by the community was the severe shortage of drinking water affecting the entire Chiwog. Acknowledging the urgency of the issue, the Deputy Speaker assured the people that the problem would be addressed at the earliest.
