Deputy Speaker Concludes Post-Session Constituency Tour in Samtse
The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly from Tashichhoeling constituency, Samtse Dzongkhag, successfully concluded a 13-day constituency visit, covering various gewogs and chiwogs from September 4 to 16, 2024.
The visit focused on addressing the resolutions and decisions made during the First Session of the Fourth Parliament held from June 12 to July 6, 2024. Public meetings were held in four gewogs, where local issues, including the Economic Stimulus Package (ESP) loan, were discussed. The ESP loan, in particular, is seen as vital to the economic progress of the region.
The Deputy Speaker also attended the inauguration of Gyalsung on 5 September in Jamtsholing Samtse.
